OIL AND GREASE
There are a few solutions!
1. Use kitchen roll to blot up the excess oil or grease.
Then sprinkle on fuller’s earth. Leave it to act for a few hours then use a brush to brush off the fuller’s earth.
Wash in the washing machine.
2. Crush some white chalk.
Sprinkle the chalk over the stain. Use a brush to rub it. Rinse and wash in the washing machine.
3. Rub the stain with corn starch. Leave it to act for about an hour. Brush it off and wash the garment in the machine.
4. Rub the stain energetically with a dry bar of Marseille soap then rinse and wash quickly.
5. Pour some washing up liquid on the stain just before washing the garment in the machine
SOIL
OR
GRASS
There are a few solutions!
1. Put a large pea-sized amount of white toothpaste on the stain and scrub it with a toothbrush. Machine wash as soon as possible.
2. Soak the stained area in white vinegar for 30 minutes. Rinse and wash in the washing machine.
3. Rub the stain with 90° rubbing alcohol and wash in the washing machine.
PERSPIRATION
There are a few solutions!
1. To get a stubborn stain out, mix two tablespoons of bicarbonate of soda into a bowl of water. Soak the stained garment for a few hours. Rinse and wash it in the washing machine.
2. Dab the stain with white vinegar.
PEN
There are a few solutions!
1. Soak a clean cloth with 90° rubbing alcohol. Then rub the cloth over the ink or felt-tip stain. Rinse and wash.
2. Spray hairspray directly onto the stain. Dry then rinse it all with white vinegar, rubbing the stain.
3. Mix some fine salt with some lemon juice. Apply this mix to the stain. Leave it to act for 1 hour then wash as normal.
COFFEE
Mix equal parts of white vinegar and cold water. Rub the stain then rinse. Wash in the machine.
FOUNDATION
Mix equal parts of white vinegar and cold water. Rub the stain then rinse. Wash in the machine.
LIPSTICK
Rub the stain with Marseille soap. Rinse and wash.
